If you already have a job offer in Australia, you will apply for an Employer-Sponsored Migration Visa and your prospective employer will apply for this visa on your behalf. Types in this category include temporary and permanent visas:
- The most common temporary visa is the Temporary Work Visa (for skilled workers):It is used by employers to sponsor a skilled worker abroad for a maximum period of four years. This visa is linked to the employer who acts as your sponsor. It was introduced in 2017 and is called the Temporary Skilled Shortage visa in English.
- Permanent visa:In this category, you will be able to immigrate to Australia through the Employer Nomination Program. This type of visa allows employers to sponsor qualified expatriate workers to fill vacant positions within companies that cannot be met by Australian applicants.
